I’ve found that the different tools and resources from the TakingITGlobal site really attracted the kids, so I thought it would be good to use the TIG and TIGed tools to get the kids started on thinking about the global community and caring about the planet and caring for other people. I came to be involved with TIG for networking purposes, sharing experiences and learning about other cultures and I must say I have not been disappointed. TIG has helped me attain those goals and meet people of different backgrounds, cultures etc and this has taught me tolerance and acceptance. So I believe TIG can help you achieve some of one's goals.
